On April 1, 2025, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs Arman Grigoryan and Vice-Rector for External Relations and Internationalization Gohar Avetisyan participated in the Matchmaking Conference organized by Yerevan State University, which was held within the framework of the visit of the Rectors of German higher education institutions. The visit of the Rectors' delegation was organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The above-mentioned conference aimed to introduce German and Armenian higher education institutions with a view to their further cooperation. The Vice-Rectors of the European University of Armenia held fruitful meetings with the Rectors and Vice-Rectors of about 20 German Universities of Applied Sciences within the framework of the latter's visit to Armenia.
First of all, the Vice-Rectors of the European University of Armenia presented our university with all its advantages, all educational programs, its accreditations and one-year professional diploma educational programs. As a result, clear agreements were reached with a number of German Universities of Applied Sciences to begin negotiations on joint research activities, mobility of Master and PhD students and faculty representatives, on having a joint scientific supervisor and defending candidate/doctoral theses in Germany, up to the creation of joint professional defense committees.
