📢On December 2, 2024, students of the "Economics" speciality from the Faculty of Economics and Finance, under the initiative of Margarita Yeghiazaryan,Head of the Chair of Economics, had an educational visit to the Central Bank of Armenia. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the operations of the country's main financial institution and its role in economic management.
Representatives of the Central Bank presented:
• 🇦🇲 the history of the origin and development of the Armenian dram,
• 💲the tools and practical applications of monetary policy.
The students actively participated in the discussions, asking insightful questions about monetary policy, economic development processes, and the Central Bank's future programs.
Such visits are essential for enhancing students' professional knowledge.
