The best students of the European University of Armenia for 2024 were awarded during the New Year's event
🎓🎄 On December 2, 2024, a New Year celebration took place at the European University of Armenia. As part of the event, an award ceremony was held to honor students recognized as the best in various categories and others who demonstrated significant achievements.
The Rector of EUA, Heghine Bisharyan, delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating everyone on the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays, wishing them success and new accomplishments in the coming year.
During the ceremony, Rector Bisharyan presented awards to the following winners:
🏆 The winner of the "Master Degree Best Student" award at EUA for 2024 was Lusine Nersesyan, a second-year Master's student in the Faculty of Information Technologies.
🏆 The "Undergraduate Best Foreign Student" award for 2024 went to Negin Talehzadehshiraz, a second-year Bachelor's student in the Faculty of Tourism and Psychology.
🏆 The "Undergraduate Best Student" award for 2024 was won by Mary Hrant Basoyan, a fourth-year Bachelor's student in the Faculty of Economics and Finance.
Special awards were granted to:
🏆 Mariam Bagratunyan, a fourth-year Bachelor's student in the Faculty of Information Technologies, for winning first place at the Republican three-day Olympiad titled “Technological Innovation Semiconductor Olympiad 2024”.
🏆 Harutyun Samveli Maghakyan, a second-year Master's student in the Faculty of Information Technologies, for winning third place at the Republican three-day Olympiad titled “Technological Innovation Semiconductor Olympiad 2024”.
🏆 Laura Armeni Zargaryan, a first-year Bachelor's student in the Faculty of Law and International Relations, for securing second place at the inter-university "Nreni" festival.
The students received certificates, gifts, and monetary prizes.
Members of EUA’s staff also joined in congratulating the students.
The awards ceremony was followed by a New Year’s entertainment program.
