On November 27, 2024, at the initiative of the Chair of Tourism, a master class on "Features of effective management of tourist organizations" was conducted by Liana Sahakyan, the founding director of the leading "GO TRAVEL" tour agency. She shared her experience in founding and successfully managing a business, presenting the prerequisites for establishing and managing a company, strengthening its position, and ensuring competitiveness in the tourism sector. The speaker also discussed the current trends in the tourism industry, as well as her company's vision and mission. The speaker emphasized the importance of motivation and ambition in achieving success and encouraged students to explore the operations of her agency. The meeting concluded with a lively Q&A session.
The event culminated with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the European University of Armenia and the "GO TRAVEL" tour agency. This agreement aims to expand collaboration, implement joint educational programs, and create opportunities for student internships, among other initiatives.
