Campus Redesign Megaworkshop: Build Your Space
🔹This workshop, the first in a series, focuses on using design art as a tool for social impact in redesigning campus spaces. Participants will work through concept development, design, and execution of design that reflects the values of the campus community. Each day will include mini-lectures to provide insights and inspiration for the workshop.
🔹Day 1: Introduction and Concept Generation
Session 1 Introduction to the workshop series, an overview of graffiti as an art form with social impact, and examples of significant graffiti projects globally.
Session 2: Brainstorming session where Participants, in teams, will develop ideas for design representing key campus values like community, sustainability, and inclusion. Initial concept sketches will be created.
🔹Day 2: Sketching and Refinement
Session 1 Participants will create initial sketches of design concepts based on their brainstorming ideas. They will focus on the artistic and social message their artwork aims to convey.
Session 2 group feedback session to refine the sketches and finalize the designs.
🔹Day 3: Design Execution
Session 1:Teams will begin executing their design designs on the selected campus walls, working under the guidance of professionals.
🔹Day 4: Final Touches and Certificates Ceremony
Session 1:Final touches and finishing up the design work.
Session 2:The workshop will conclude with a Certificates Ceremony, where Participants will present their completed design projects.
