Within the framework of the Erasmus+ CompIIT project, a three-day workshop was held at EUA with the participation of Dr. Jan Van Maele, professor at KU Leuven in Belgium; EUA Associate Professor Gohar Avetisyan, the Coordinator of the CompIIT Erasmus+ project; Associate Professor Karine Sargsyan, PhD in Economics, the project’s contact person; as well as members of the project’s focus group, including Associate Professor Sona Hakobyan, PhD in Philology, Head of the Applied Linguistics Department; Acting Head of the Department, Alina Petrosyan; and Lecturer of the relevant Department Nvard Ohanyan.
During the workshop, specialists responsible for the ProCom Language School work package discussed the program’s subject-specific details, aiming to finalize the documentation and resource base for the professional modules. In particular, the communicative aspects of international project management were examined, identifying key modules such as "Intercultural Communication for the Global Job Market," "Presentation Skills in the Context of Intercultural Communication," and "English for Specific Purposes (Project Management Communication)."
Additionally, it was concluded that an optional module, "Negotiation Skills for Intercultural Communication," should be added, as it serves as a fundamental prerequisite for implementing the core module. As a result of the workshop, the course curricula were effectively developed and optimized, ensuring their successful implementation in the designated beneficiary faculties.
