🤝🇩🇪On February 20, 2025, a meeting was held at the European University of Armenia between the Head of the DAAD Regional Office Tbilisi (German Academic Exchange Service) Mr. Gebhard Reul and EUA Rector Mrs. Heghine Bisharyan, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs, Mr. Arman Grigoryan, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Internationalization, Mrs. Gohar Avetisyan, and Head of the Quality Assurance and Educational Reforms Department, Mrs. Karine Sargsyan as well as the Director of European Institute of International Languages, Mrs. Hasmik Torosyan. Possible cooperation between DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the European University of Armenia, the steps to be implemented in the following years, including the establishment of a German center with the purpose of spreading the German language and German culture and language for thinking in 2025-2026 were discussed in detail during the meeting. The establishment of this center will provide an opportunity for the students of the European University of Armenia to learn German as a second foreign language with the help of a native (citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany) professor, whose selection and further guidance will be carried out by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Tbilisi Regional Office. It was agreed to revisit this issue and further actions in September-October of 2025.🎓🌍
