🎓On the occasion of International Students' Day, on November 16, 2024, EUA students in Tourism major organized a 12 km hike through the Gladzor Gorge to the Spitakavor Monastery, where Garegin Nzhdeh's remains are buried. Prior to the hike, the students studied the environmental features, terrain, and geographical location of the area and developed the hiking route. During the hike, the students carried out team-based practical tasks aimed at further developing their ecological knowledge and environmental thinking. At the end of the hike, the students held reflective discussions with the members of the Chair of Tourism at EUA, evaluating the tasks they completed.🗨️ 🥾
🌄Hiking has become an integral part of the tourism field, and the practical tasks assigned during such activities not only contribute to the multifaceted development of students but also play a key role in building collaborative relationships, strengthening team spirit, and raising environmental awareness among them.
