📢On November 17, 2024, on the initiative of M. Avetisyan, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Communication at EUA, Linguistics students participated in the event "Information Dissemination Through Translation," organized by the "Inlight" Public Research Center. The guests at the event included:
🔹Ani Ananyan, certified translator/interpreter, co-founder of the "Translation Week" project, founder of the "Aorist" translation agency,
🔹Gurgen Karapetyan, PhD in Philology, simultaneous and consecutive interpreter,
🔹Vahe Ghukasyan, prose writer, editor at the "Union of Informed Citizens",
🔹Mikayel Avagyan, founder of the "Avromik" company, programmer․
The speakers and guests, knowledgeable about the activities of Inlight's translation department, participated in a panel discussion addressing various issues related to the present and future of translation as well as current challenges. The event was both vibrant and inspiring.
