The Chair of Tourism and service of the European University of Armenia carried out the regular tour planned by the program along the Gndevaz - Gndevank - Kechut reservoir route accompanied by the Chair lecturer T. Safaryan. The educational tour included an 11 km hiking route through the Arpa River gorge, which is notable for its historical, cultural and natural monuments. During the hike, the students got acquainted with the terrain, geological structure, landscape, local biodiversity, witnessed the process of feeding the Arpa River with seasonal meltwater, and learned about the construction and significance of the Kechut Reservoir. The participants of the march also visited Gndevank, a monument of Armenian architecture and a medieval monastic complex on the left bank of the Arpa River.
