On April 24-26, 2024, the European University of Armenia participated in the prestigious annual World Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX 2024) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, presenting itself within the general European Campus pavilion. Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), inaugurated the Global Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), kickstarting the long-awaited three-day student recruitment exhibition. The opening ceremony was also attended by Chancellors, Vice Chancellors and Provosts of all the major universities in the region, marking the launch of the 2024 edition of the region’s foremost education and training event.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the exhibition, which was run at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year, more than 200 universities from 30 different countries participated in the Exhibition, offering students about 2,500 course options. As a result, the event attracted around 20,000 visitors. As a result, in the most important period of internationalization and in the context of the activation of international cooperation, the EUA participants presented their beloved university with honor on an international prestigious platform, obtained many agreements and partners and new opportunities to implement international programs.
