One of the most important tools for external quality assurance and continuous improvement of the education quality in RA HEIs is the accreditation carried out by the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA). It allows to periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the HEI’s activities, as well as assess whether the institution is fulfilling its Mission and responds to the requirements of the State and the public. Besides, accreditation allows to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the university, target the accumulated experience and improve the internal quality assurance mechanisms and tools.
Based on the study of the self-analysis submitted to ANQA, the expert panel report and improvement program, EUA was granted a conditional institutional accreditation for a period of 2 years by Decree N 27, dated April 12, 2018, of the ANQA Accreditation Committee.
The 2nd institutional accreditation process of the EUA started in 2019. As a result of the study of the self-analysis, the expert panel report and the improvement program as well as meeting with the leadership of the HEI, EUA was granted an institutional accreditation for a period of 4 years by Decree N 55, dated July 24, 2021, of the ANQA Accreditation Committee.
