The EUA teachers Naira Gevorgyan, PhD in Economics, Karine Sargsyan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Isabella Iskandaryan in Law, Vahe Torosyan, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Roman Melikyan, PhD in Politics, Associate Professor, and students Hayk Movsisyan, Nare Ghevondyan, Knar Aloyan, Silva Davtyan and Mariam Ayvazyan received their certificates for having successfully completed the Engaged Citizen university course. The participants had the opportunity to share experiences, discuss different ways to strengthen civic education in Armenia and finally present their community initiatives implemented by students in their respective communities. The course is tailored to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their effective engagement, as well as to strengthen democratic principles. To date more 550 students have enrolled and more 77 teachers have been trained on innovative and interactive civic education methodologies.
