On the initiative of T. Movsisyan, PhD in Pedagogy, a lecturer of EUA Management Chair, a seminar-discussion on the topic of "SWOT analysis" was held within the framework of the "Strategic Management" course. The seminar was conducted by the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Aliag Galaijian and Garine Kevorkian. The participants of the seminar were N. Kirakosyan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, the Dean of Economics and Management, Head of the Finance and Banking Chair, academic staff of the Management Chair and EUA international students. The aim of the seminar was to present the essence of SWOT strategic planning tool, advantages and methodologies to international students studying in the Faculty of Economics and Management. During the meeting, N. Kirakosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, emphasized the importance of choosing this topic and the key role of SWOT analysis in the preparation of research projects, individual and graduation papers. During the seminar, the speakers presented not only the theoretical-methodological bases of SWOT analysis, but also the practical possibilities of its application on the example of a specific organization. The seminar-discussion ended with questions and answers. Summarizing the seminar-discussion, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management and other participants highly appreciated the interesting and competent presentation of the speakers, noting that the organization of similar events is educational and should be continuous.
