EUA participated in the meeting-discussion organized by the initiative of the British Council in Armenia

On March 1, 2024, the British Council convened a meeting-discussion with the heads of English language education programs at higher education institutions in Armenia as part of the "Teacher for Success" conference for English teachers, spearheaded by the British Council. Dr. Sona Hakobyan, Head of the Chair of Applied Linguistics at the European University of Armenia, PhD in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, participated in this session. The dialogue delved into the priorities and challenges surrounding English language teaching within higher education, with insights from experts from Great Britain. Over the next two days, lecturers of the Chair of Applied Linguistics at EUA Luiza Marabyan, Lilit Avetisyan, and Armine Zakaryan, accompanied by Marine Avetisyan, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Linguistics and Psychology at EUA, engaged in the two-day "Teacher for Success" conference. The event was led by renowned experts Michael Connolly, Caspar Mays and Tatjana Slijepcevic.
