On February 9, 2024, the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia together with the Cooperative University Gera-Eisenach, Germany held a networking meeting with around 25 representatives from higher educational institutions of Armenia.
The purpose of the meeting was to present to the parties the scope of activities of participating universities from both countries, as well as establish cooperation between Armenian universities and the Cooperative University Gera-Eisenach. During the meeting, Jürgen Müller, Vice President of the Cooperative University Gera-Eisenach, presented the vision and priorities of internationalization of the university. Afterwards, Annika Penke, Head of International Relations Office at the Cooperative University Gera-Eisenach, presented the thematic framework of the university’s educational programs, innovative methods of work-based learning, as well as possible directions of cooperation.
Gohar Avetisyan, Head of the External Relations and Grants Department at the European University of Armenia, participated brieflybriefly presenting the existing Erasmus+ Competency Development in HE CompIIT Project and the international mobility programs at the university with the respective universities of Lithuania and Spain, as well as the specialties operating at the university.
As a result, an agreement to share the contact information of the participants and discuss the thematic directions and formats of joint projects in the near future was reached.
