From September 11 to 15, 2023, the European University of Armenia (EUA) warmly received guest lecturers from Collegium Civitas University in Poland, who delivered a series of lectures within the framework of EU Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility․
The lectures were conducted by Ewa Nowicka – Rusek, a social anthropologist and sociologist, founder of the Department of Social Anthropology at the Institute of Sociology in the University of Warsaw and Wojciech Połeć, PhD from Warsaw University of Life Sciences- SGGW, Faculty of Social Sciences.
The lectures were held on the following topics:
1) Poland: society, geography, demography and history,
2) Ethnic structure and differentiation of Polish society: ethnic and national minorities,
3) Armenians in Poland: national minority group and recent migrants from Armenia.
50 students from "Graphic Design", "Psychology", "Tourism and Hotel Business", "International Relations" departments participated in the lectures.
The professor Ewa Nowicka – Rusek was granted with a certificate of attendance and delivering lessons to the EUA students.
